I've been neglecting my daily posts as I was away for the weekend and then managed to loose my doodle from yesterday so if you happen to find a scribble on a piece of A5 scrap paper, it's mine. 

Anyway, I've been thinking about starting a website for myself. The above is a sketch idea for the front page with the concept being that the website (built in flash) would open like a book on your screen as you navigate through it.

Okay, so I'm sad. I admit it! But I'm feeling rather Christmassy. It might be something to do with us being in the D-month or maybe it was the beautiful dusting of snow that we were treated to (FINALLY!) in Somerset...

Inspired by the font in this web-vert for Waitrose. The advert itself is cool - the letters move! I can't find anything exactly the same online - it must be a commission - but there's lots of Christmassy font ideas here to get you in the mood, if you so wish.

A random still life study of what could been seen from my desk. A pear, a coaster, a bottle of water and a surgical mask. It's a while since I've drawn a formal still life and this has whetted my appetite for more.
